    Nationwide, women and minorities still face barriers to joining first responder agencies and climbing the ranks once they’re in. What will it take for agencies to more accurately reflect the demographics of the communities they serve, and what success stories can inspire others to make strides in DE&I within their own disciplines?

  • Fall: Health & Safety

    First responders put their lives on the line every day, facing traumatic situations head-on. Along with the physical challenges these professions entail, there’s a growing awareness of the mental challenges that come with the job too. We will share resources that help to ensure that first responders make it home safely at the end of the day, from suicide prevention programs, to nutrition and physical fitness, to protective gear, and more.

  • Winter: Emerging Technologies

    Which new tech tools – or recent big improvements to tried-and-true tools – are working to make first responders’ jobs easier, safer, and more organized?
